 GIG BUDDIES - BEDFORD

Gig Buddies is a befriending project where someone with a learning disability or autism can be partnered with a volunteer who has similar interests.

They would then arrange to go out socially once a month. This may be anything like a music gig, theatre show, cinema, festival, a restaurant, sporting event, gym or any short break.

If you would like to apply for a gig buddy or would like to volunteer to be a gig buddy, please contact Fizz on 07951 368683 or email on gigbuddies@lovelivingitup.org

 FIZZY RASCALS

Gig Buddies Bedford hold a committee meeting called 'Fizzy Rascals' every month for members who use the service in order for them to help shape what we offer.  Fizzy Rascals are made up of people with learning difficulties and autism and are supported by staff and a student social worker.

"Fizzy Rascals are very helpful. We do it together as a group to decide what we’re going to do for the socials. Fizzy Rascals help make sure that the Fizzy Rascals project runs properly."
